Commercial buildings such as offices, conference rooms, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, airports, hospitals, and educational institutions also benefit from concealed gypsum ceilings. These environments require attractive ceilings that provide acoustic comfort, easy maintenance, and compatibility with lighting, air-conditioning, and fire protection systems.
Industrial facilities, laboratories, healthcare centers, and clean rooms often utilize specialized gypsum boards with Interior Gypsum Wall Board -resistant or fire-resistant properties to meet strict operational requirements.
Installation Process
The installation process begins by accurately measuring the room and marking the desired ceiling level. Suspension hangers are fixed securely to the structural ceiling before galvanized steel channels are installed to create the supporting framework. Proper alignment ensures a level ceiling surface and prevents future sagging.
Gypsum boards are then fastened to the framework using corrosion-resistant drywall screws. Care is taken to stagger joints for improved structural stability. Once all panels are installed, joint tape and specialized joint compound are applied to cover seams and screw heads. Multiple coats are used before sanding the surface smooth.
